Little Creatures Little Hazy Lager Product Recall

3rd November 2025 – We have identified an issue with a small number of Little Creatures Little Hazy Lager 375mL cans that are subject to a secondary fermentation effect that can increase alcohol percentage and carbonisation, which may cause the cans to burst.

After investigation, we believe the issue is restricted to a small batch of cans produced in February 2025 which are nearing their Best Before date of 10/11/2025. Our assessment is that this is an isolated incident and at this stage have no reason to believe that any other Little Creatures products are impacted.

Despite the small amount of this product that is likely to still be in market, we are taking this issue very seriously and are undertaking a recall.

Consumers should not drink or open this product, and should dispose of it safely, taking photos for documentation. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice, and affected cans should be handled with care and movement should be minimised.

If consumers have this product, they are being asked to contact our consumer helpline on 1800 308 388 to arrange a full refund and to receive guidance on the safe disposal. An issue of this nature is a rare occurrence. We are investigating how this issue occurred to ensure we continue to maintain the highest quality standards of our products.
